The Roulette table is one of the casino hotspots offering a pleasant combination of thrilling chance and keen Roulette strategy for the player who likes to make the most of their casino games. Now finally available to our punters in Australia, you can skip the crowds and the mess that is a Sydney casino and head straight to your favourite online casino to play for genuine AUD 24/7.

Or, if you’ve been a bit intimidated by the look of the players at the Crown Casino in Melbourne, and skirted past the wheel at The Treasury in Brisbane because you weren’t entirely sure how to lay your money down without embarrassing yourself, take a moment here to learn how to play Roulette and then put your skills to the test using our Practice Mode sessions before you start betting real money and winning it.

That’s the real magic of online gambling. Not only do you get to wear what you like to all of the table games, you get better payouts, you get a full array of online casino games to play and get you to learn how to play Roulette or any of the other classics at your own pace. In a brick and mortar casino, you’ll have lay down your Australian dollars first. With us, we teach you a Roulette strategy or two to get started so you enjoy playing even more.

Our online Roulette versions include American Roulette and European Roulette. There’s not a great deal of difference between them but essentially when you play American Roulette you have the option of selecting 00 0 – 36 of non-sequential numbers to place your bet on and these are placed on either red or black squares around the wheel and on the corresponding table. The European version, which is sometimes referred to as French Roulette, has 0 – 36 to choose from and just doesn’t include the “00”. Your Roulette strategy will be basically the same playing either game.

If you’ve seen any casino film, then you’ve probably heard a croupier call out ‘Red 23’ or something similar. You probably also already know that the game consists of a wooden wheel covered in numbers and a little white ball that spins around the wheel before landing in a little slot with a number printed inside it. When you play, you’re not just making a bet on precisely where you think that little white ball will land, despite what the movies will have you believe. Of course, that’s a viable bet and if you bet on Red 23 and win then the payout is 35:1 in a game of American Roulette, but if you’re interested in playing a bit longer then we suggest that your Roulette strategy will have to expand a bit because the odds of you winning that bet are deliberately high. It’s not impossible, but it’s unlikely.

Other bets available include selecting a particular colour, a group of numbers, whether the number the ball will land on will be odd or even, whether it will be a high number (19-36) or a low number (1-18) , a particular number, 2 – 6 number combinations and 0, 1, 2, 3 number combinations. The house edge is 5.26% and this is calculated based on the odds offered for any given bet.

There is a maximum bid of $1000 permitted on the table and your minimum bet is $1 with increments of $5, $25, $100 or $500 in between. You place your bets by clicking the corresponding box on the table so if you were selecting a particular number, like Red 23, then you would click the red square containing the number 23. This is considered an Inside Bet and it has a maximum of $500 per bet. If you were choosing to bet on a selection of numbers, then you would click the box containing the selection of numbers you have chosen. These boxes are located outside the box and are therefore known as Outside Bets. There is a $500 limit per bet bringing the maximum allowable bid of $1000.

There are a few Roulette systems but the one favoured by new players is the easiest: the Martingale System. This system dictates that when you win a bet, you place your next one as you did the first, with no changes to your betting amount. If you lose a bet, you employ the doubling strategy and double your original bet on the next one. The logic is simple, when you lose your first bet and double on the second, should you win that second bet then you have made your money back. It’s risky, though. If Lady Luck slams you with a losing streak then you’re not going to be at the Roulette table for long. But it is simple and it’s worth a gamble, after all.

Our Australian players are now welcome to play any of our games, including rolling up to the online Roulette wheel and taking it for a spin. We accept all of your regular deposit methods which include Bitcoin for cryptocurrency enthusiast. So, Aussies – come in and have a spin or familiarise yourself with how to play Roulette and sharpen a Roulette strategy of your own.
